HIT Media (Satellite Technology Research Institute/Text; China Long March Rocket Co., Ltd./Photos)At 11:00 on January 13, 2025, the first batch of 10 ALNES satellites was launched into space via the fifth of Jielong-3 launch vehicle at Dongfang Space Port in Haiyang, Shandong, using one rocket, ten satellites configuration. The satellites successfully entered their intended orbits, marking a complete success of the mission.

Among the first batch of satellites launched this time, eight satellites were jointly developed by Harbin Institute of Technology and HIT Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. This group of satellites inherits the technical state of the S4 test satellite and innovatively adopts a stacked design to achieve module-decoupled assembly, making them suitable for mass production of satellites.
To date, Harbin Institute of Technology has successfully launched 35 satellites.
