The finals of the 2025 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition were held at Zhengzhou University from October 12 to 15. This year’s competition attracted an impressive 6.19 million projects involving 24.43 million participants from 5,673 institutions across 161 countries and regions. A total of 4,720 projects advanced to the national finals.

After fierce competition, projects from HIT SOA won five national gold awards and two national silver awards—marking the fifth consecutive year of gold medal achievements and setting a new record for the School’s best-ever performance.

HIT SOA places strong emphasis on cultivating student innovation and entrepreneurship, guided by an innovation-driven strategy. The School has developed a systematic education model that integrates “interest stimulation, seed incubation, and achievement transformation” to support students at every stage of innovation.
By building a comprehensive support system and providing continuous mentorship, the School fosters a culture that encourages students to “dare to explore and excel in creation.” This approach has cultivated a robust pipeline of talent with strong innovative thinking and practical abilities.
Since 2020, the School has earned over 400 awards in major national competitions such as the “Challenge Cup” and the National College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Its excellence in student innovation education has also been recognized with the Provincial Special Prize for Teaching Achievement.
