        Nov 21 | Results of the 2025 CAE Member Election Announced,Chair Professor Huang Jie Elected as a Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering

        Huang Jie was born in May 1955. He is a Chair Professor at School of Aeronautics of Harbin Institute of Technology and a Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has long been engaged in research in control theory and applications, robotics and automation, neural networks and game theory, as well as guidance and control of flight vehicles. His research hassignificantly advanced the development of cooperative robust output regulation for nonlinear multi-agent systems, as well as distributed game theory and its applications.He currently or has previously served as an Associate Editor for over ten international authoritative journals, including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, and as a General Chair or a Program Committee Chair for several important international conferences. He is a Board Member of the IEEE Control Systems Society, an Honorary Board Member of the 10th Council of the Chinese Association of Automation, Vice-Chair of the Guan Zhao-Zhi Award's Evaluation Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, a Scientific Advisor to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and an Honorary Advisor to the Hong Kong Science Museum. Huang has received one National Natural Science Award (Second Class) and has been elected an IEEE Fellow, IFAC Fellow, Fellow of the Chinese Association of Automation (inaugural class), and Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. He has published over 450 academic papers andauthored four monographs, including one sole-authored book.
