The 11th Asia-Pacific Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring
The 11th Asia-Pacific Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring (APWSHM 2026)

APWSHM 2026 Conference Visual
From 30 October to 2 November 2026, the 11th Asia-Pacific Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring (APWSHM 2026) will be held in Shanghai. As a flagship international academic conference with sustained influence in structural health monitoring across the Asia-Pacific region, the workshop will bring together experts, scholars, young researchers and industry representatives from civil, maritime, aerospace and other engineered-structure fields to exchange the latest theories, key technologies and engineering practices in structural health monitoring.
APWSHM originated from long-term academic exchange in structural health monitoring across the Asia-Pacific region. Since its establishment, it has been held biennially and has become an important platform for international collaboration and academic cross-fertilisation in the field. The workshop aims to disseminate new principles, technologies and applications of structural health monitoring, discuss emerging issues and opportunities, and promote information exchange and cross-fertilisation among disciplines, countries and regions. The 2026 workshop in Shanghai will further showcase China's research progress in structural safety, intelligent sensing and engineering operation and maintenance, while promoting deeper collaboration between Shanghai and the global structural-health-monitoring community.
