A Warm Welcome to HIT SOA’s 2026 Incoming Students

As summer gives way to early autumn, HIT SOA welcomes 1,211 new students. They have come together at HIT from across the country, full of youthful enthusiasm and determination, setting out on a new journey of exploring the vastness of space and leaving their own mark along the way.

Before dawn broke, welcome staff were already in place. Clear directions and well-coordinated arrangements guided students through every step of the process, making every new student feel welcomed and cared for. Patient answers to questions, warm smiles, and thoughtfully prepared welcome packages showed the care and attention given to every detail.

University and HIT SOA administrators visited the registration area and spoke with new students as they completed registration.

2026 Postgraduate Freshmen Assembly

On the evening of September 1, the 2026 Postgraduate Freshmen Assembly at HIT SOA was held in the Main Building Auditorium, with parallel in-person venues at the Activity Center and Science Park. Li Zhao, Director of the Student Affairs Office, presided over the assembly, which was attended by Miao Chengguo, Deputy Party Secretary of HIT SOA, counselors, and all incoming postgraduate students.

The assembly covered a range of topics, including sessions on developing a sense of belonging and pride in HIT, university policy briefings, education on responsible online behavior, safety education, guidance on regulations governing teaching, research, and graduate education, and the handling of routine student affairs. Using vivid real-world cases, the session highlighted standards for responsible online behavior and provided guidance on preventing and responding to fraud, helping new students stay on the right path, make a confident start, and begin their postgraduate studies with confidence.

May the 2026 incoming students keep in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping’s earnest instructions, embrace the important responsibility of serving as pioneers in China’s aerospace sector, and live up to the pioneering role expected of students at HIT, a leading university in China’s aerospace sector.
